Shipping

Orders are expected to be processed within 1-5 business days, and shipping times do not include processing time. For any shipping address changes, please contact us immediately; we hold orders for 24 hours after your order has been placed to make any adjustments required. Hikoomo is not responsible for lost packages due to mistakes in/wrong shipping addresses.

If your order includes all flat items, it will be delivered by lettermail (non-tracked) and has an estimated delivery time of 2-4 days. Otherwise, your order will come tracked.

These delivery standards are estimates and do not include weekends or statutory holidays.

Domestic (Canada)

Rates for tracked mail starts at $10CAD, but is dependent on parcel weight. Tracked mail has an estimated delivery time of 2-5 days. Lettermail for flat items start at $4 and has an estimated delivery time of 4-7 days. We offer free domestic shipping on orders over $65CAD.

International

Rates for tracked mail starts at $15USD, with an estimated delivery time of 7-21 days. Your order may be subjected to import dutires and taxes (during VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches it's destination country. Hikoomo is not responsible for these charges in the case that they are applied. We offer free international shipping on orders over $80USD.

Quality Expectations

3D printed pieces

We use PLA filament, acrylic paint, and seal everything with a matte enamel top coat. We sand visable areas to reduce the appearance of layer lines (but they are still visible up close) and add extra weights on the inside. Some features are hand-painted, so there may be some variation in appearance due to human error.

Handmade pieces

Handmade pieces are individually crafted and are one of a kind. As a result, slight variations in shape, colour, size, and texture may occur. Minor differences between received product and product images will occur for all handmade products and will not qualify as grounds for returns or refunds. Minor asymmetry, slight tilting, or small imperfections are a natural part of the handmade process and contribute to the unique character of each piece. Colours depicted on screens will also differ and may not 100% reflect the physical product.

To be fully transparent so you can make a well-informed decision on your purchase, here are some examples of imperfections that are considered acceptable:

Tighter-fitting slits. Your top-loader/slab should still fit, but you may need to click it gently in place.
Minimal specs of dust trapped in the resin. We have tried our best to reduce and remove dust during the curing stage, but some still manage to make its way in during production. We try to make sure that they're not very noticable and kept at minimum.
<0.1mm dents and protrusions. Making a completely smooth surface with clay is very difficult. We try to make it as smooth as possible, but some minor imperfections may still persist.
Angle of the slit where the card sits varies between 90-97 degrees. This may be more noticable if your are planning to use these stands side-by-side. To help minimize this, we will be matching up stands from the same order so that they have a similar slit angle before sending them out to you.

Stickers

Our glossy vinyl stickers are water and tear resistant, and are topped with a waterproof laminate. They can be easily and seamlessly removed from most surfaces without leaving residue. Colours differ between screens, so digital photos may not reflect the exact, true colours of the stickers.

Care Instructions

Clay collection

These pieces are fragile. Forcing a wider object other than the intended 6.5mm PSA slab or 1.5mm standard PVC hard game holder top-loader may cause it to snap. Gently clean with a damp microfiber cloth or mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals like alcohol, acetone, or other harsh solvents. Avoid contact to extreme heat and prolonged exposure to sunlight, as it can cause the other coating to soften and yellow over time. Be cautious when attaching and removing sticky objects from the surface, as it may remove the paint.

Stickers

These stickers are waterproof, but water may seep behind the laminate. Please pat dry after wetting the sticker. They have not been tested to be dishwasher safe.

Missing or lost packages

Please check around your delivery location, with household members, building management, neighbours, or any safe drop-off areas. Shipping carriers may occasionally mark a package as delivered before it arrives.

If your package appears to be lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the shipping carrier to investigate. Packages are considered lost only after the carrier's investigation period has passed. If a package is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will arrange a replacement or refund whenever possible. For handmade products, replacements will take around 2-4 weeks (not including processing and shipping time).

Magnetic card case

The magnetic card case is a transparent, durable card holder with UV-blocking protection. It is made of acid-free, durable acrylic, non-toxic, odorless, and strudy. They fit perfectly (magnetic side down) in our slab display stands, making it a perfect way to display any card; not just graded cards!
